OSNode is developed with open technologies and therefore fully integrable with third-party management systems

OS Node is an IoT device based on consolidated technologies such as MQTT for inter-device messaging. Can send messages on Telegram, Mail or to a notivica center via http API. It is able to initiate the network manager about the events and situations in the installation and thanks to machine learning alcorithms predict the use and or drift of certain systems based on the registered usage pattern

Key Features

  • Pleasant and easy-to-use Web interface. All the information needed for complete control of a SmartBox is condensed into a few windows

  • Automatic detection of the control board and all connected TW-IDU-NODE elements. For each TW-IDU-NODE it is possible to view:

    • Load absorbed
    • Setting Voltage Powered
    • Battery charger
    • AC 220v presence.
    • Presence of 24v auxiliary power supply

    It is also possible to perform the following operations on powered devices from the interface

    • PowerOff
    • PowerOn
    • Reboot

  • Datalogger with writing all collected data to CSV files on monthly rotation. Files downloadable individually or as ZIP files directly from web interface.

    Functionality that can be enabled from system settings.

    All controls generate an alert that can be sent to the SmartBox.Manager server or directly to Telegram or Mail.

  • Each installation also includes a working installation of Node-Red.

    Node-Red is a software developed by IBM and used in IOT to execute logic flows with a visual programming system. With Node-Red it will be possible to perform those operations not provided by the OSNode system or integrate with non-integrated third-party systems.

The Kit

Each OSNode kit comes on SD with Raspbian operating system running on any Raspberry technology-based board.
Two models called Desktop and Rack are offered. The former suitable for general use the latter supplied with DIN rail connectors ideal in field installations and in TLC cabinets such as SmartBox.

The kit includes the SD and a Raspberry with plastic case and related power supply part.

The Rack version comes with a 12-5v DC/DC adapter to connect the raspberry board to the battery while the desktop version comes with only the 5v power supply.

Interaction

The device is capable of interacting with other devices of the same or other types using the MQTT protocol.
MQTT is the protocol used in the IOT environment for exchanging messages between devices placed anywhere.

It is also possible to send messages via email, Telegram, or HTTPs API. HTTP messages csist composed of a data structure in JSON ofrmato widely compatible with most modern cloud systems.
